Phone and gadget vendors in Nigeria run on notebooks, WhatsApp and memory. Activ gives them one place to record sales, track every device by IMEI, issue receipts and know their customers, on a laptop at the counter or on their phone.

Highlights

  • •Scan, don't type: IMEI and barcode capture in the browser (Barcode Detector API with a ZXing WebAssembly fallback) and on mobile.
  • •One backend, two apps: a React 19 / TanStack Start PWA and an Expo (React Native) app share a single Convex backend.
  • •Built for a real shop floor: multi-staff workspaces with roles, receipts and invoices as PDF, email or WhatsApp messages, and Paystack subscriptions.
  • •AI with a human in charge (in progress): a WhatsApp inbox where LLM-drafted replies wait for the merchant's approval.
  • •Quality: Vitest, Playwright, Storybook accessibility checks and CI on GitHub Actions.
